oh good question...and related to the one I just asked on the "ask a question of the person below you" thread.
I think the book version elicits more emotion and drama...so I go with shelly.

Fantasy or science fiction
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before. ~ Edgar Allan Poe
Fantasy by one hundred thousand leagues.
Goku or Vegeta?
So with the courage of a clown, or a cur, or a kite jerkin tight at it's tether
I had to look that up and found out they are manga characters (did I say that right clopin?)
this is like the manga version of my jack reacher or mitch rapp question!
here's what I found too:
"They are the yin and yang. They balance each other out. They are the same power level (technically) but Goku always trained harder and always fought for others and never himself. Vegeta is that naturally gifted athlete who never had to work as hard to get where he wanted to go. There both cool but im going with Vegeta. Watching DBZ for so long and seeing him with that angry face, then you see him smile when he hugs his son during his buu battle. To watch him realize and accept many of his cares and insecurities made Vegeta seem more human."
and
"Goku Goku and Goku all the way. Not because he is the strongest but because he is the perfect mix of childlike and warrior like characters. When he is with his friends and family training or just resting, you love his childlike attitude. He is so strong and yet so gentle. Even Vegeta quoted " ....how can a saiyan fight like that and yet be so gentle that he wouldn't even hurt a fly...." . And when he needs to be aggressive, there is no stopping him. He will never give up even if it kills him. He is very noble of heart and always puts others ahead of himself.
"i like vegeta too. His attitude mind blowing. But the only drawback is his arrogance gets between his good judgements which caused him dearly many a times.
"And i like his catch phrase as well. You might have heard of it. It goes something like this "Kaaaaaa..........Mehhhhhh.................
"I broke into tears when he left with shenron. And also when he quoted "UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN!"
if its true that goku works harder, I am going to go with him!
hercule poirot or miss marple?
Poirot, I guess, although I'm not a big Agatha Christie fan, so I'm not really into either one.
Catching fish or eating the fish you catch?
