The song offerings (Gitanjali) by Ravindranath Tagore

A wonderful set of poetry with utter simplicity for which Tagore was awarded the Noble Prize (1913), it is already in public domain and i would love a click away visinity to Gitanjali on this site, i think everyone who hasn't have a good background of vocabulary but still has a deep sence of appreciation for pure aesthetic thoughts should enjoy it. Please have a look at it.

oh, I just finished reading the Gitanjali and I love it very much. Home and the World is brilliant too.
"The time has come," the Walrus said,
    "To talk of many things:
    Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
    Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
    And whether pigs have wings."

Glad you liked it. Tagore happens to be my childhood hero.
He is one i will always go back to, always rely on in my quietest moments. The rumor goes- there is no human emotion that Tagore hasnt talked or sung about.
