"hordeolum blues". Lol + Oh my! Just learned a new word. "Hordeolum" at least isnīt dangerous, unless it has to do with the new Covid variant arturo+something.
    Wishing quick improvement:

No poems today. Waiting until you get better. My eyesight is not that fine these days either

Enjoyed the haiku but not the subject.

    Rainy autumn day

    Empty landscapes
    Bouts of wet indifference
    Muffled sounds of life
"I seemed to have sensed also from an early age that some of my experiences as a reader would change me more as a person than would many an event in the world where I sat and read. "

    Oh no Prayers...

    Breakfast in Coloma

    jaunt to Coloma
though lilacs may turn to rust
    a friend transcends gold

Thanks! And it seems that (just a moment) the hordeolum is getting better!

    Enjoyed the poem!

    Friday
    Neither sun nor rain
    It fridays serenely

No, Odie... he passed away before Doodles. I friend of mine passed away today... (sigh)

    remembrance

    memories hurt so -
    family, friends, or pets passed
    an empty aching

So sorry to read it! Hoping there is a Paradise for meeting beloved ones.

    No word describes the
    emptiness of bereaved
    hearts and wonted haunts.

    Enjoyed... all too true.

Ah... the grand rejoicing on the other side of the veil is almost palpable

    once heady lilac

    butterflies forego
    once heady lilac blossoms -
    all have turned to rust
