(sigh) such tragedy from such a simplicity of nature... especially where clearcutting hazards people nearby. Flashfloods can be so unpredictable.

    Staying with weather:

    tsunami sunrise

    feelings are forecast
    an atmospheric river

    A bad forecast!

    The ants

    A tidy queue
    triumphs over the sugar
    spilt on the table.

    To Bruno

    Majestic beauty
gone as breath within the wind
    carried in our hearts

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before. ~ Edgar Allan Poe

Loved the image and specially the word "vagility".

    Vagility

    There was an egg
    looking for new horizons.
    It broke its shell.

Loved the poem. Also the thrush with its little trusted forward chest and its silvery voice.

    Bem-te-vi

    A brisk Bem te vi
    starts the dialogue.
    The forest responds.

    just one birds tune sounds
    in the deserted garden
    of wilted flowers.

    Splish and Splash

    Into the puddle!

    Doggy happiness abounds

    out of the puddle!

    Enjoyed "Splish and Splash"

    scythe

    death's artful touch wields
    a curved, sharp scythe harvesting
    those whose time is ripe

(alas) Ingenious poem. Hope again that all is well!

    Escape

    Wish I had two wings
    to escape the sorrows
    of exit tense.
