A charming and strong image. Thatīs our poor planet.

    Monday, 07-17-2023

    Lazy winter sun (22š)

    Subdued Monday bustle

    Thatīs the card today

    Well, why not some Haikus?

    The Albatross

    Messenger of light,
    the Albatross spreads his wings
    over rough waters.

    Enjoyed

    chilled woodsmoke

    bleak, dreary morning
sleep has left my weary eyes
    chilled woodsmoke drifting

Enjoyed though conditions described are rather bleak.

    Before carnival

    Rare silent night
    Expectant of carnival
    Street sleeps, eyes open.

Yes, and it finishes only on the weekend after Carnival. Ash Wednesday has been ignores of late

    PreCarnival Saturday

    Clouds cover the sun
    Songs and music from afar
    Birds shut their small beaks.

    Lol! Cute poem, surprising title.

    Sunday Morning

    Chilly weather, empty spaces.
    Sun essaying timid break
    .out. Barks fill the air.

Enjoyed ! The dogs must be out again below

My title is a chess term: an intermediate move or movement; the translation from the German being "intermediate train" according to google translate.

    Speaking of trains:

    1:00 pm

    severe storm warnings
    windows and nerves are rattling
    winds testing stout trees

    Enjoyed this stormy poem.
re:"Out" completing "break" on the line above.Removed the stupid full stop before.

    Perhaps in fall
    Summer storms here,
trees falling on cars and streets.
    Order becones after chaos?

Very grim there... hanging in there here. Going to bed before the power goes out soon... so very surprised it hasn't yet with the "flickers" we've had.

    The World in 2024

    The world has become
    covered by furuncles
    ready to explode.
