    Love the imagery

    in the end

    in the end we're all
    like life was a waterfall
    thrilling to the end

    2/6/2023

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    pipes may freeze
    lost the gray blanket
    about 0 degrees C
    faucets on dribble
    Hope they won´t. freeze
    Monday
    Luminous morning!
    Birds welcome the new day,
    People walk to work.
    The city wakes
    with more hast than dignity.
    Crowds throng sleepy streets.
    From the Word Can challenge at our "Thursdays at Two" group: yelp/behind/rustle/outward/valley
    rustle behind me
    rustle behind me
    outward into the valley
    a yelp of terror
    Enjoyed! All the challenge words meaningfully accommodated in a haiku.
    Enjoyed the haiku
    March gifts
    Light autumn breeze
    Cats lazing on balcony
    Bird chants in the air
    cobble stones
    after a light rain
    Riotous Morning(damaged haiku)
    The tubes strike
    Police cars run amok,
    Helicopters chime in.
    Good grief Sounds like an action movie. The perils of city life.
    yellow daffodils in bloom
    hide and seek sunshine
    resilience today's watchword
    a respite from rain
    Lol!It often comes down to much noise!
    Loved your yellow daffodils!
    Waves of heat
    Scorching midday sun.
    Creatures, small and big seek
    shadowy respite
    Hot day 32ºC. Rain soon?
    Late summer
    Summer doesn´t want to
    take leave. Sun´s winking in above
    Below creatures bask!
    Enjoyed Hoping the humidity is mild. Praying for rain. About 0ºC just before dawn here.
    before dawn
    feeding the heat stove
    as old as my aching back
    bird song in the dark
    Going digital completely ? If I was allowed to make a rule re: moving it would be that one's books stay behind for the new tenant and then one would inherit the books from the previous tenant in the new house/flat/apartment. Brand new digs (no earlier tenant) would be full scale perusal and purchase at ye olde used booke store ... and digital of course. If one didn't like the literary taste of a previous tenant then a donation to the public library would be in order and full scale perusal and purchase at ye olde used booke store
