Lol. I like your rules specially as they democratize reading. In Germany, they have that, but at a more modest scale I learned from some friends. They have public bookcases there: people separate regularly books they donīt want any more and shelve them there and take other books they want home.

My going digital isnīt quite voluntary. I loved my books, but I got an insect problem and never got quite rid of it. And so I got used to digital reading. Plus, importing physical books to my country has become complicated.

The empty room ( damaged haiku)

    Here am I, sitting
    in a room without shelves.

    Solitude then

We have tiny neighborhood lending libraries too (kiosks?), outside on corners here and there. Our local library accepts books which they either leave outside to take, or arrayed in a $1.00 USD room, with CD's too (I picked up a book for $1.00 on Eternal Life from many perspectives at our last poetry event )

    march winds

    winds shriek through the pines
    like wraiths marching through graveyards
    in search of lost souls

    March Exit

    Afternoon downpoor
    Longing for friendly April
    and gorgeous flowers!

After the winds we received an afternoon surprise last Tuesday...

    3.28.2023

    two inches of snow
after the winds had ceased fell
    unexpectedly

    Lovely Sunshine!
Birds and dogs delight in song

Enjoyed! That must be the cinema snow.

    Sounds

    Birds greet the cold dawn
    From much afar, hammering
    Day opening wings!

    lol... enjoyed.

I have started another pspsps that needs a little more refining before making its debut as a 5-7-5 Haiku; the following is in the raw 5-6-5, and maybe its final form... and since you have pspsps 2 I'll title mine with pspsps 3 :

    pspsps 3

    comfy furniture
    now shredded hand me downs
    cat tree looks better

    A Tragic Fate (pspsps 4).
    A new brown sofa
    cat paws busily at work,
    Couch burned on place!

AAII! Canīt imagine a squirrel scolding. Met one only once, very tame eating nuts from my hand in the Central Park-NY.

    After the storm

    A feeble sunshine
    Park, dogs, barks, puddles.
    Life's resumed.
