Best book...ooooh that's a hard one...I really like The Westing Game beacuse it was really fun and surprising but House by Ted Dekker and Frank Peretti is up on my list (its really scary and even though I'm not a fan of most scary books it was really written well.) My least favorite book is probably so far The Crucible....or maybe The Gift of Magic (really predictable and sappy)

Have you read any really great books lately, if so what are they?

    "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen

Now I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
    It goes like this
    The fourth, the fifth
The minor fall, the major lift
    The baffled king composing Hallelujah
    Hallelujah
    Hallelujah
    Hallelujah
    Hallelujah

Your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew her
    She tied you
    To a kitchen chair
She broke your throne, and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah

    Hallelujah, Hallelujah
    Hallelujah, Hallelujah

You say I took the name in vain
I don't even know the name
But if I did, well really, what's it to you?
    There's a blaze of light
    In every word
It doesn't matter which you heard
The holy or the broken Hallelujah

    Hallelujah, Hallelujah
    Hallelujah, Hallelujah

I did my best, it wasn't much
I couldn't feel, so I tried to touch
I've told the truth, I didn't come to fool you
    And even though
    It all went wrong
I'll stand before the Lord of Song
With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah

    Hallelujah, Hallelujah
    Hallelujah, Hallelujah
    Hallelujah, Hallelujah
    Hallelujah, Hallelujah
    Hallelujah, Hallelujah
    Hallelujah, Hallelujah
    Hallelujah, Hallelujah
    Hallelujah, Hallelujah
    Hallelujah

Someplace with a beach, blue water, and a bar in the pool. It will be very relaxing.

    Same question:
If you had to be stranded somewhere for one week, where would you want to be and why?

I would like to be stranded at my house with all the projects/hobbies I want to start but haven't had the time.

    Complete the Thought.
Everybody else is so creative on that thread!

    same question
"The time has come," the Walrus said,
    "To talk of many things:
    Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
    Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
    And whether pigs have wings."

    the Haiga thread
    I just love writing haigas!

    Its a good Q, so Same Q
I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book! When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.

My favorite thread, though I have yet to venture a response there, would HAVE to be the "Insult the PAM" thread... OMG, I seriously laugh out loud with those witticisms -- you guys are great!

Question for the next poster -- what was the funniest thing you have ever done?

the funniest thing i have ever done...
my dad is terrified of spiders, i was like four, he had been tesing me for weeks. well at christmas my sister bought me a spider that looked real. well he kept on teasing me until i was in tears. so i go to get my bath im like four rember. so i have my clothes and a spider under them so no one sees. at my house everyone had there own little cubby hole thing for towels and what not. well i put this spider in his wash-cloth wear he couldnt ssee it. and i sat by the door waiting as he took a shower. he picks up the wasch cloth the spider falls in the tub with him and being rubber it floats he rips the showercurtain, and breaks the door getting out. it was great. yep that is the funiest thing ive ever done...i havent seen that spider since...

    question for the next postee'
what is the worst thing you have ever done in walmart/how many times have you gotten kicked out for it and who were you with.

The worst thing I have ever done in Wal-Mart has to be either thinking ill thoughts of the person on the mart cart taking up the whole aisle, or the Wal Mart rage I get when shopping there only to find the shelves empty and the massive crowds incredibly annoying.

I've never been kicked out of Wal-Mart though.

Do you have Office 2007 or Windows Vista?

Do you wished that life had a replay button, if so WHY and if no, WHY NOT...

Yes. I would have spent more time with my dad during his last months.

My last thought would be a silent gratitude to all my loved ones for putting up with me all these years.

Next poster -- you have to choose a song to perform Karaoke for all of us here -- what would it be, and why did you choose it?
