So many movies I love for one or more special scenes: The Fifth Element (I love the humor throughout)/Matrix (fighting scenes)/Contact (any scene with Jodi Foster in it)/Blast From the Past (Dance Club scenes)/Fantasia (so many scenes)/Meet Joe Black (Hospital scenes and others)/K-PAX (Planetarium & Blue Bird scenes & others)/Blade Runner (a visual feast... probably my 2nd choice/The Seventh Seal (many scenes... my 3rd choice)/Casablanca (many scenes)/Stargate (map revelation-before and after, and movie ending )/The Other Side of Heaven (many scenes)/Pirates of the Caribbean: the Curse of the Black Pearl (ship hijacking scenes/Island scenes) ... et al. I used to include The Ninth Gate but have since redacted it due to my changing sensibilities...

But the one movie I adore in its entirety is "Legend"

In the movie "Fantasia" what is your favorite sequence ?

My favorite is the dancing mushrooms (the 'Chinese Dance')... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqM1qmpi8fs ... I used to be able to whistle a passable rendition.

I remember being given another taste of the classics from the movie "Song of Scheherazade"... https://www.google.com/search?num=10....0.M3QL2EM4WZs when I was young (I must have caught it on the telly late at night) and became entranced with the music of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikolai_Rimsky-Korsakov; a sampling: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQNymNaTr-Y

For me, it`s the horn or French horn (especially when playing in an orchestra). I like its use most in the 19th century symphonies and piano concertos. It has some great moments, for example, in Bruckner`s 4th symphony.

What are your favourite 3 works by Tolstoy, except the novels?

Sorry, my question was perhaps a bit too specific. So, a bit amplified: What is your favourite work by Tolstoy or Dostoevskij?

Hard to pick a favorite, but I do go for both Greek and Italian as well as Indian. I've probably had more Indian lately.

Have you ever dated a troubadour?

The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ; I'm thinking of reading it in French for the next iteration.
