    Character Images

Just like when reading a novel we form an image of the people we are talking with from what we read. We form our judgments by what they say and their described behaviors. That is one thing that attracts me to having discussions on a forum like this. When you see someone, it is human nature to automatically prejudge them by there appearance. Here we don't have that appearance to judge by, and no eye contact to discover sincerity. Something I have done recently with an online aquaintance is share the many images I have pictured in my mind. We do not share our true appearance. I thought it might be fun, if anyone is interested, to share what images your mind has pictured of some of the people you have encountered here. Although I am just getting to know people, I will share with you some of the images or personality traits I have perceived from a few people I have encountered here.

    Okay, here goes:

Iwilkiku - A person biting a donkey's bottom. Also, someone witty and humorous.

Crisaor - The name alone makes me think of a warrior clad in armor, bearing arms, a person of strength and integrity

Fayefaye - The name alone inspires an image of a pretty, gentle woman, her words reinforce this and show strength.

Shea - At first I thought Shea was male, but as I see more, I see a blooming flower searching for sunshine.

Amuse - Formerly Azmuse I believe. A woman of strength and integrity. Willing to share wisdom.

Atiguhya Padma - A man suffocating in his business suit by day, happy to rid of it when the work day ends, tired of the niceties and appropriateness required in business. Also humorous and witty.

bbq13 - A young, intellectual student searching for his niche in life, who also enjoys immensely barbequed food.

Hope you all perceive this as fun, that is all I'm trying to do. Sort of like a character study for a novel. Share your perceptions, if you like. :-))

    Cheers,
    Lara

Sorry psyco, I haven't formed an image of you yet. Although your name implies that you are psyco!? haha just kidding. I certainly don't mean to leave anyone out, I just have to encounter people some more yet.

    That's pretty accurate, Lara.
Crisaor --> spanish for Chrysaor --> Chrysos (Sword) + Aor (Gold)

I understood your name perfectly Kik, it's the donkey bottom biter underneath your name that stands out in my mind. I adore your humour, and sorry, I don't find you threatening at all, even with all those growly faces and grr's. I can grr back just as well, especially when I'm having some bad PMS. :-))

Hey, BTW, isn't anybody else going to express the images they have portrayed of anybody here?

No offence, but I picture you, Lara, as a british lady, 16, 17 ish, You remind me of some one I know, odd eh?

You are very inofensive, and genuinly friendly.

And Psycho, you remind me of stoker jones from the tv show captain star.

fayefaye- student, grade worrier, bright, needs to party more.
ap- intellect, deep, knowledgable, negotiator, should try drinking wine.
    crisaor-fearless, intellect, kind.

Stoker jones was a six-armed nine-headed stoker for the space ship the boiling hell. He was a pretty cool guy, smart too.

No offence about the extra appendages though.

Oh Stan, I could kiss you! Try doubling that age though plus just a few more. Although there is some British in my ancestry (my Grandmother was born in England) I am just a regular Canadian. But I do enjoy speaking with an English accent, just for fun.

It´s funny - even before Shea wrote about her favorite paintings, I always pictured her as a lady in one of those romantic pictures. With flowery dress and flowing hair. I had a print in autumn coluors, with women gathering apples in the fall. In my mind Shea was one of them.

And Lara - ah well, anybody with that name looks a bit like Angelina Jolie in my mind. Hope you will not mind that ?
