Spam: Please Read

So apparently some people are starting to spam with forum PMs.

For the record, no one is going to give you lots of money through a forum PM. If it sounds to good to be true, it always is.

If someone sends you spam through a PM, please post the offender's username here in this thread and we'll ban them (and yes we've already banned Denise01).

Besides the above, not responding to private messages that are obvious spam, asking you for money etc.... please refrain from posting to spam topics in the forums. It draws attention to them and bumps them to the top of the forum lists which is exactly what spammers want. I know it is tempting sometimes to respond to them but the best thing to do is ignore them.

Or, if you wish, you can click the Report Post icon under that users' name and follow the instructions

Also, it is highly recommend that (unless you know the person already) you do *not*, ever, click any links posted in a private message or the forums by an obvious spammer that might say something like "CLICK THIS" or "VISIT THIS SITE" or "FREE XXX HERE" etc.

If you do choose to click on an attachment or link *be very careful*. They can sometimes be malware (malicious software) containing worms, spyware, or say a trojan horse that automatically loads onto your computer and erases your hard drive or spies on you for personal information.

Someone (with no forum posts, now banned) has been at it again, spamming people via private message. Thank you to certain members for forwarding the pm and bringing it to our attention

Candidly,I perceived this user 'haohaode' is spamming in the General Literature category and in the thread 'Wonderful start from here'.All of this is related to gaming,and he cited a raft of gibberish things,and obviously it is a spam.If some people go to his website,they would get duped.

As you had informed us this is the Literature forum,then I wonder why is there a game topic and a spam right hither.Thereby,this is gibberish and maybe you can banned him and delete his thread which I had cited.Many thanks.
