    Behind the Horizon

    Behind The Horizon

    Comes to enlighten our days
In a journey from East to West.
Wakes people in a silent way
In a morrow`s light from the chest.
    Curses us, afternoon, then leaves
In a night`s mission to meet the beloved
    Behind the horizon.

Sun and the beloved, Lap of Sea meet
--In a peaceful shift with the moon--
Oh! Thou lonely moon in the skies, beat
Us with love instead of countless hours of doom.
Leave the lit-up planet in eternal date
With the beloved Lap of Sea
    Behind the horizon.

I wonder if there were no Sun
In a planet like our Mother Earth.
There would be no pain but fun,
Everyperson in love, and loved with mirth.
Under the shiny star, and dark blue sky
Staring at the lea, with hugs that never flee
    Before the horizon.

    I don`t like daytime.
This piece of my work talks about the Sun. When I was young, I used to think Sun sinks in seas at sunset time.
The Sun goes to meet its beloved (Lap of the sea) and switches turns the the Moon. So, I ask the moon to always stay in the sky, providing us with love moments, peace, and mirth..

i am with ya here, i tend to think of the moon as more peaceful, loving, accepting, and the stark light of the sun to be bit harsh and insincere. poem was excellent.

    Thank you so much!
I really do have a low self-confidence about my writings

i like it a lot... nice job

Love is like a lump of gold,
Hard to get, and hard to hold.
Of all the girls I've ever met,
    You're the one I can't forget.
I do believe that God above,
Created you for me to love.
He chose you from all the rest,
Because he knew I would love you best.

but... how could we ever go on without the occasional sunburst of stingingly blinding truth, the moon is more comfortable, but could we live without the sun?

Because you are wonted to the Sun, you are asking this question.
At the beginning of this piece, I described my point of view/opinion indirectly about the sun.
Then, I supposed if it never existed, what would happen?
I guess, and thanks to technology in somecases, we might still be able to see things clearly :=

really more of a philosophical question than a literal query, i wonder if we could really live in a mental place where all bad things are tucked safely out of the moonlight, could our inquisitive minds live with these questions unanswered?

Cool A Poem about night...in progress

    night reminds
    times feared
    night time
    losses quite dear

    dark
    night sky
    presence
    cold frigid frozen ice
    essence

    mistaken
    run from night
    and huddle in the corner
    and count to 100
    again
    and
    again
    wishing
    and praying
    that this night would
    end

That is not what I do

    yes yes yes
    danger
    goosebumps
    and shivers

    midnight
    delivers
    star light
    glows

lost and tossed and thrown away and broken.
    I have awoken
    Slap bite
    mefreeze
    or burn..

    blood and through piss
    I have learned many truths
    that in
    daylight
    I can easily dismiss.

I would love any comments, praise, critiques...writing is alone act....any voice in vastness.... desired.

    not a poet
    but a man
    who writes
    poems
"Nor what the potent Victor in his rage
Can else inflict, do I repent or change"

    Milton, Paradise Lost
    Book 1 Line 95-96

"There is only one plot-things are not as they seem."

very effective and lovely use of symbols in nature poetess
I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book! When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.
