    Old Major's Dream and Irony

Considering Old Major's dream for the future and his warnings to the animals (against drinking ect.), how is irony developed in the novel Animal Farm?

Hmm... you really know your stuff. I did understand the ideas for example being against drinking then planting barley and learning how to brew is ironic but I never recalled Old Major's advice when he said "Remember also that in fighting against Man, we must not come to resemble him."

    thanks a bunch!!!

ps. im writing and essay on it.
