When you mention Greek ideas, are you talking about the characteristics of an epic?
"So heaven meets earth like a sloppy wet kiss, and my heart turns violently inside of my chest, I don't have time to maintain these regrets, when I think about, the way....He loves us..."

If your teacher is asking how Milton uses the characteristics of a Greek epic in his own work, first notice how in the very beginning he says "Sing, Heavenly Muse"

Homer also calls on the Muses (I think they were like goddesses/nymphs of the arts) to help him tell his story in The Iliad and Odyssey
"So heaven meets earth like a sloppy wet kiss, and my heart turns violently inside of my chest, I don't have time to maintain these regrets, when I think about, the way....He loves us..."
