There once was a scotsman named Drew
Who put too much wine in his stew
He felt a bit drunk
And fell off his bunk

Awww.....That's a very cute picture of Mr. Gilmour
Jimmy Page was adorable when he was young.. and so was Weller.

Well, not seriously but, I like to imagine. I especially like to think about what all my buddies would say when I show up in the tabloids with my arm around said crush . I think that would just be classic.
Yeah....although ever given a chance I know I would do absolutely nothing.

They have their worries, they’re counting the miles, they’re thinking about where to sleep tonight, how much money for gas, the weather, how they’ll get there—and all the time they’ll get there anyway, you see.

It is, isn't it? He was such a pretty man, although I find him just as attractive now even though he's about 60. He has such a distinguished look about him, he has aged very gracefully and those eyes are still peircing and his lips are still full and his voice is still beautiful and he still plays a mean guitar, all the things I love about him.

I won't argue with you there, Dave has the gift of melody and Roger has the gift of words and they sound the best when they're together. Dave's solo efforts are sorely lacking decent lyrics and Roger's are sorely lacking a decent melody.

Aww...funny that we too share the same opinion on this . I have somewhat "bad" feeling when listening to Roger's latest Flickering Flame

I just don't find his solo stuff musically compelling at all. Lyrically, they're brilliant but I can't get truly excited about listening to them because they're just not interesting and then when I listen to Rogerless Floyd or David's solo albums, they sound nice but it's hollow, like pretty noise, there's no depth and it pains me to say that but unfortunately, it's true.
I do really like The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking, Roger's first solo album, if you don't count The Final Cut but he had Eric Clapton on that one and that seemed to help a great deal.

But who wouldn't want to be? You rarely see such passion and vigor in a persons face!
