    Charlotte Bronte's poem

i nees help to get the meaning of this poem by Charlotte Bronte:
Obscure and little seen my way "
Obscure and little seen my way
Through life has ever been ,
But winding from my earliest day
Trough many a wondrous scene .
None ever asked waht feelings moved
My heart , or flushed my check,
And if I hoped , or feared or loved
No voice was heared to speak .
    I watched , I thought , I studied long ,
The crowds i moved unmarked among ,
I nought to them and they to me
But shapes of strange varaiety .
The Great with all the elusive shine
of power and wealth and lofty line
I long have marked and well I know .

Obsure and little seen my way. This poem is mostly about feeling alone in her views and thoughts in a world that does not seem to care who she is or how she is inside. She is mainly describing how experienced she is in life yet no-one ever asked her how these experiences effected her. "none ever asked what feelings moved my heart or flushed my cheek and if I hoped or feared or loved." She is basically saying that nobody ever seemed interested in her ideas and thoughts yet she has been interested and watched others feelings. This is showing a person who feels as if she is going un-noticed in life, that nobody cares enough about her to try and understand her. She has watched and analysed other people and they have acknowledged her as she has acknowledged them yet they never saw deeper into her being as she has seen deep into theirs. Also it shows that because no person has asked her about herself and she has looked long and hard at them she now feels that maybe she is the only one who sees things the way she sees them. "Never seen my way." These people become an illusion to her because she doesn't feel she connects to them. She sees reality inside her head rather than with the people in the outer world who don't care. This poem shows a person who is so introverted that she lives inside herself not in the real world with people who don't care about that side of herself. It is a poem about being alone and not knowing how to stop feeling that way.
