    dancing

Dance with me under the stars
    Forget this world
    Leave it all behind
    Forget your worries
    For just this one dance
Dance with me in the eye of the moon
    Washing all the worries away
Dancing like it’s what we were meant to do
    Looking like an angle
    Singing like a bird
    The night is still young
    Holding me tight
    Swaying form left to right
This will be the last time we meet
    Dancing like this
    Midnight is coming
And the night will then end
So lets dance with the stars in the eye of the moon
    Wind blowing, train’s whistles
How long will we stay on this balcony?
    To dance like this
    To feel this way
It tells me that this is right
    Your eyes, your touch
    With music around
    The night is ending
    And it will be done
    Wind dying, trains fading
Moon so bright I see you smile
Wishing upon the stars that you never forget
    So before we both forget
    And leave this place

I could see you were a long timer returning, so just had a look at your back catalogue and found this from 2006. You are gonna have to trust me I found it after writing 'Let's dance', but I was struck by the similarities and 4 years on would like to add my appreciation to your poem as a very late arrival ( almost terminal )
