I was recently searching for some poems in LimeWire (p2p sharing program) and found this one. I don't know who the author is. Maybe you do???
It is simply written, but honestly it's one of the best poems I've come across so far.


Only the Best

God saw you getting tired,
And a cure was not to be.
So He put His arms around you
And whispered “Come to Me,”
With tearful eyes we watched you suffer
And saw you fade away;
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
