Question Dark Secrets by Eileen Stafford

I just completed it yesterday and I liked it. It is basically based on women's treatment during and after Great War and how they they were expected to sacrifice. I think that I have never read a novel containing more feminism other than "Dark Secrets" by Eileen Stafford.

When I went to the book store to buy it, it seemed like a children story but as I kept on reading it, the story was quite good but on some places really disgusting so I had to skip two or three pages as well.

Has anyone read it? What are your thoughts about it? This novel was published in 2001. I think that she is not well-known so you might not have come across the novel. I liked its story plot.

I sang of leaves, of leaves of gold, and leaves of gold there grew.
