    Beatrix Potter

A little off-topic I know, but am I allowed to paint Beatrix Potter images or am I restricted from doing so by copyright?

I would like to paint some images for a local (strictly non-commercial) exhibition but I don't want to infringe copyright.

    Any information appreciated.

I'm not really sure what you mean by 'painting Beatrix Potter images'. I'm not familiar with her and therefore might sound rather funny
Do you mean paining images of her? Or painting (copying) images she's painted/drawn/photographed...? I'm not an admin but I asked google and I found a site that might be of some use to you.
    I have a plan: attack!
