    Britain's favorite 100

My local Ottaker's bookshop has been running a marketing campaign called "Britain's favorite 100." I was wondering if anybody knew if there was any criteria for what books made it onto this list, or if it was just designed by Ottaker's to sell more of these 100 titles.
...Also baby duck hat would be good for parties.

The BBC in Britain have been running a poll over the past year or so for the nations favourite book.

This latest list is the books that received the most votes. The poll will end in the next few months after voting on the best out of this selection.
