And more importantly why don't those people just try and decapitate themselves with the fan's blades instead of trying to hang themselves, it would be much more colorful don't you think?

Neither. First came the ancestor animal which evolved (mutated through natural selection) to become a chicken.

Mythbusters: it would be impossible to decapitate oneself with the fan.

    Question 1:
Technically the egg would come first following evolutionary thinking: the modern chicken would be a mutation from its parents, therefore the egg of the modern chicken came first.

    Question 2:

uhm, why not... I have no problem with female equality, there are a few females that I know who can kick my @$$ at just about anything.

where do we go from here?
(and no I'm not talking of after life and metaphysical stuff...leave that to spiritual people...I'm wondering what's next.)

I have heard this one before. The correct answer is of course it makes a noise, there is just nobody there to hear it. The noise is created by the vibrations caused by the tree falling to the ground.
It is similar to asking whether or not a dog whistle makes noise....the fact that the frequency at which the sound is emmitted is outside the range of human hearing does not matter, there must still be a noise or the dog would not respond.

With regards to Koa's question about where we go from here: I presume she is meaning after she graduates....and the answer is you enter the hamster wheel and get to spend the next 40 years running around in circles until you get to old to turn the wheel...then you die....a happy thought eh.

    1. If you ask a Christian, then probably the answer is Chicken
    2. Yes...feminism doesn't realy got anything to do with sex. It's more related to gender, I think.

i have to disagree with you kilt-ex. this is very disimilar to the dog whistle.

with the dog whistle, we have machines and dogs to test whether a sound is made. while, with the tree falling, there is no machines, no dogs, nothing to test it.

in the end, the answer to that question will always be in favour of the person who says, "no it does not make a sound" because they can always after that say, "Prove me wrong" and they will be eternally correct.
