If You Love Raymond Carver, You'll Also Love_______________?

I've recently read everything by Raymond Carver and am having trouble finding anything else that I enjoy. Can anyone suggest a short story writer with similar sensibilities? Specifically, I am looking for simple, touching/insightful stories.

Are there any authors out there whose writing you would compare to Raymond Carver's? Classic or contemporary suggestions would be appreciated... (Note: I've already tried Hemmingway and Chekhov).

    Thanks!

    Re

(For some reason I'm picturing that guy from Everbody Loves Raymond.)

His earlier stories resemble Hemingway's, although better (in my opinion anyway), so do try Hemingway.

As for his later stories, since he idolizes Chekov (Chekhov?) so much, you may want to try his stories.
