The other night while I was in the campus library, I stumbled across a good, very helpful book on how to study literature (or any type of book, really). It's called "How to Read a Book." (LOL). It was originally published in 1940 (!!!!) ~ the edition i have is from 1972. Don't know if it's still around, how hard it would be to find... but if there are any literature studying newbies like me, i think it might be worth looking into.
