I read this qoute in a pocket edition Meriam Webster book of qoutes when I was about 10 but I can't seem to find it any where in the body of the text of Uncle Tom's Cabin I need to verify the source for this can any one help? I was going to use it in the body of a speech but I can't very well go about making up qoutes by famous authors eh?

"And the Devil said to Simon Legree, I love your style so wicked and free."

    Help!

Apparently you do have the wrong work:

I found your quote in this work:

    http://uiarchive.uiuc.edu/mirrors/ftp/ibiblio.unc.edu/pub/docs/books/gutenberg/etext96/ngale10.txt

    or

    Chinese Nightingale, by Vachel Lindsay

personally I've never heard of it.
