I believe this book to be totally a trip! Henry James seems to put his psycological mumbo-jumbo to good use to create a ghastly, dark enviroment. I find the "innocent" children playing so happily in such a horrile place demented. And I especially love how you can never tell whether the Governess is seeing the long-dead persons, or just being taken away in her own insanity created by the twisted mansion and its residents. Kudos to you, Henry, kudos! I love the intellectual slop you've produced, and I hope my local library has more of your exquisite books!

To answer the people who find the text less than optimal:
You should consider such a challenge of the mind a gift, for such things keep the ol' bean sharp and prevents things like Alzeimers' Disease, anyway.

And so do chopsticks.

CAESAR AMO!
