    Dante

I'm trying to find a good translation, and I figured there'd be no better people to ask but those here. So which is it? Who is the best translator? Please email me. Thanks

I personally love the Mandelbaum translation. I have it in hard cover with the original Italian, IMO Mandelbaum does a fantastic job of maintaining the poetry and triple metre that others have failed to do...three is so prevelant throughout the work it's a shame to miss out on the importance of the holy trinity (to Dante) because of weak translation.
