    I do not know which translation it uses, sorry. But I can tell you from a quick check on my bookshelf that it does NOT use the translations of:<br><br>Allen Mandelbaum; or<br>Robert Hollander<br><br>If you're looking for a new translation I highly reccomend Hollander. You'd be wise to not stray near Mandelbaum with even a 10 foot pole, however. He has a knack for introducing complexity that reduces meaning, while Hollander masters the more useful skill of reducing complexity in verse and illuminating meaning.

    No, I have the Ciardi translation, this is not it. It might be Sayers (???)
