    Difficulty with Lit Net Page.

I have not posted for a while, as the Lit Net proper page presentation will not come up, either on my computer or my Ipad. Instead I get a white background and a long disjointed scroll. Can you assist please your end.

You're not alone. I've had the same problem. It's normal now so I finally felt safe to sign in to say this. Before it said it wasn't secure so I was put off of signing in. It's nice to know I'm not the only one.

Thanks, Bluebird! I have been thinking of you these days. I'm glad it is normal now. With me it only got normal because I reverted to an older browser. I hope it keeps like that.

Unfortunately when I said now I meant at that moment in time. Sometimes it works but most of the time it doesn't. I just have to keep checking back regularly. I stumbled across a system for a few days where playing hour long background music in another window seemed to make it work normally and consistently. Until I left it for a bathroom break and when I came back it was wrong again. So I quickly discovered that halting interaction with the site when it does look normal will probably make it go back to abnormal again when you go to a new page. I also discovered that continual interaction with the site looking abnormal may result in a new page randomly looking normal but this doesn't last long. Which is very frustrating as I've started a secret personal project that requires the site to look as it should. This project has given me some insight at least. For me it's been going on since February.... Nope. My mistake since January. But I don't know when it actually started since I hadn't been back here for months before that. I would have said all this before but it was late and I was so surprised to see everything normal I hurried to reply in case I lost the chance. I'd been stalking this subject for 3 days before I could comment. It was probably perfectly fine for me to have signed in but it said the site wasn't secure and asked me if i really wanted to proceed I decided to wait until it didn't say that. I thought it was just me because everyone else seemed fine, people continued to use the site, and I'd just changed some of my security settings that I can't change back because I don't remember what I did and everything else seemed fine. That was a little before I came back so I don't know if that was coincidence or not. It seems to be completely random when the site looks normal to me or not and more often than not it isn't.... It worked this time yesterday but not today. I've had to save this to copy paste later.

    Hi,Bluebiird
The same often happens to me. Sometimes the site looks normal and I'm even able to post something. When I try the second post it gets broken again.
Things that help but don't solve the problem definitively:
Change your browser, preferably to one that is not from the Google family. It may work for some time.
Change your device. It works ok with Android.
Write longer posts on word and then copy and paste them on Litnet, so you don't lose them.
There is something else. I access
the site from outside US. I don't know if that has any influence.

Well I'm UK I don't know how that affects it. Changing browser is something beyond me. Funny thing is that I was already doing copy paste because I write such long blogs. I think as we go along and come up with coping strategies then it's manageable for now at least.
I have a few odd theories. It's normal now, of course, and I'm the only user signed in. I wonder if that's significant or another coincidence. Or maybe the time. It's around 11:25 GMT right now. I'll see what happens if I come back in an hour, providing I remember

I always thougt you were US until one day you talked about pounds and London. The fact is that at present, from the four non US active users, three have the same problem at logging in (I donīt know about Tony).

I also noticed that at some times the page is not broken, but I donīt know if it is a coincidence or has to do with general internet traffic. Anyway, in my case, the page gets broken again while in use. Changing the browser has helped a lot. The older the browser, the better.

I have the same problem, although it is now back to normal. I'm guessing that the lack of traffic on he site is due in part to this issue.

    Hello to everyone!

    Hi, Manichean
Try to use an old browser that is still available, there seems to be more affinity. Presently I am using "Sea Monkey" after trying out six others, and as yet it works ok.Android doesnīt present problems either so IOS probably works too.

    Regards,

    Danik

One of 2...well 3 things has happened. Either it's magically fixed and by coincidence it happened just as I performed an experiment, my experiment worked somehow or more likely I'm in that random pocket of time where it's normal. It's nice to see regardless though. I've tried leaving the page open and not interacting with it for a while (which usually puts me back into the "White Screen of Long-ness" when I interact again) but I still have "Orange Goodness". So either it's sorted one way or another or the pocket of good time is a bit longer than I'm used to. I'll check back later to see how it is before I get excited about it though

Well good luck,Bluebiird. This page sprawl seems to affect mostly users that check in from outside US.

Danik 2016 "This page sprawl seems to affect mostly users that check in from outside US."

It's you telling me this that inspired my experiment.
2 days of testing and it seems to be working for me.
It seems to work when I use a VPN.
Originally I set it to USA but for some reason it still works when it's UK for me too. So I don't think the region of the VPN matters as much, for me at least. But turning it on and then opening the site has made it work for 2 days now. I just worry that I don't see ads as much, I still see some, so I guess it's blocking others and I worry that blocking ads will decrease revenue for the site which would lead to it's downfall but I'm probably just being dramatic.
I don't know how this would work out for anyone else. It just seems to poke my system onto working like it should. It was pre-existing for me so I didn't go out looking for a VPN to use so I don't know how others would fare for other users.

Well the quote feature doesn't look right so I'll just Quote like a regular human

Now back to my project. I'm only up to 2012
