Hi! I used to mostly lurk several years ago!

I used to mostly lurk, occasionally post, several years ago. Like.. over 5, maybe even like a decade ago. I was wondering if much has changed around here? I remember very few people from back then. I remember a St. Lukes something something. I remember a JBI person who always seemed very erudite if not perennially irritated. I can't think of any others. Mostly I just wanted to say hi because I've been reading a lot lately and I can't seem to find a good literature discord, so this may be the best I can get.

I finished Milled on the Floss by George Eliot recently, as well as the Aeneid by Virgil. I'm now most of the way through Paradise Lost by John Milton as well as reading the first of the Barchester Chronicles for some lighter reading. All of these readings have been very enjoyable in their own ways. Probably Mill on the Floss is my least favorite of these, possibly due mainly because the ending was very unsatisfying to me. I'm not even saying it's bad, just compared to all these other books it's probably the runt of the litter.

I may or may not stick around and contribute to posts and make new threads with a tighter focus than this quite slapdash one. Mostly I just want to say hi to all of the current members. I have very fond memories of reading threads years ago, and hopefully I can make some more!

Welcome also from me. Hope you find yourself.
There is many an interesting buried thread.
