    Green Light

A car slams into my bike
    Splintering bone
    Shattering glass
    I snap clavicles of jokes;
You know, the rib cracking kind
'Oh, I'm so glad you ran into me'
    It dulls the pain
    The out of body trauma
    On a corner
    Some crossroad I'm hurtling past
    Way too fast.
Before sunlight can shine through a window, the blinds must be raised - American Proverb

    Hi, Delta

    Itīs been ages!
    Hope you are fine
    and that the story
    of your poem
    is invented.
"I seemed to have sensed also from an early age that some of my experiences as a reader would change me more as a person than would many an event in the world where I sat and read. "

Howdy Delta40 ! Wonderful to see you posting !

    so deep and honest
    fragile is not the word!
    fast healing is a must.
    it may never try
but when it does it sigh
    it is just that
    good
    it fly
