    Going back to work

My shrink asked me to journal what kind of boundaries I want to maintain as I enter a new school year. Schools can be septic systems and I am working hard on listening to my inner voice and respecting my personal opinions. I am looking to confront conflict with colleagues in an assertive way. This is not a natural process for me and I tend to want to avoid conflict as much as possible. I am unfortunately also a bad people pleaser. So another boundary I am trying to establish is the habit of saying, "No!".

Just blogging about some ideas as I continue to think about this topic.

"No" is an attribute I too wish to use more judiciously. Good luck. Sorry school systems are so septic... must make it hard for the students as well.
