Next: flaunt, drink, bric-à-brac, forage, rainbow, moonbeam

    Sentimental bric-à-brac

There are always those little ornaments
    One gets for present
    or buys cheaply on trips,
    one only separates from
    if one can´t help.

There they rest in their usual corner,
somewhat covered by dust and memories.
    Sentimental forage are those
    minute foreign figures
    those little bottles of drink.
    They retain some of their
    original rainbow color
    under a silver moonbeam.

Next challenge: valet, cards, excruciating, blossom, railroad, summit.
"I seemed to have sensed also from an early age that some of my experiences as a reader would change me more as a person than would many an event in the world where I sat and read. "

Challenge: valet, cards, excruciating, blossom, railroad, summit

    the valet

he was first and foremost a valet
in the most excruciating sense -
at the summit of his profession
most excellent in the everyday -
wore a white blossom in his lapel

    ever the gentleman's gentleman
the valet kept his charge organized
    - railroads known for their timely
precision could set their clocks by
his efficiency, had they the sense

    grooming and dressing were the
least of his daily duties, kept his
    gentleman debonair, for without
    this discreet confidant the gentle-
man would live in a house of cards

    The Dragonfly
    Soaring high under the Orion
    I pursue the evanescent night
    with quixotic stubbornness.

I dance in the secret faerie rings,
I travel over rich sunflower fields
    and marish planes.

I live on the nectar of flowers.
When I'm tired of roaming through
the universe, I just fold my wings
and get to sleep in a buttercup!

Challenge: goldfish, rider, hangover, washing, solid, trail

    a goldfish fantasy

    hungover from a pufferfish's distress
a young dolphin had shaken off its
goldfish fantasy where a færie rider
had taken him through a trail of stars
down a washing waterfall of glittering
comets only to land upon solid ground
where it found its senses challenged -
    beached ! and becoming sunbaked
from its stranding - the dolphin issued
its frustration in loud clicks and squeals
soon catching the attention of native
fisher folk children who gently turned
him into the healing, rushing surf foam

Next: existential, bonsai, mandala, wind, carnival, dance

    The existential bonsai
    There once was a
    bonsai. He dreamed
    of growing into
    a very
    big tree
    the lar-
    gest tree
    in the world.
His dream didn´t last long. He was torn from the ground
by a very strong wind, a tornado in fact.Children executed
a wild carnival dance around the fallen tree.
But one kid celebrated him, by gluing a leaf in the middle of
a beautiful mandala. The mandala still graced her house when she was a woman.

Next challenge:bread, anniversary, candles, yellow, calling, entrancing.

    o' grave -

candles lit by loved ones who sorrow
and can never let go tis said o' grave -
    each anniversary candles' yellow flames
    entrancing, dancing calling their dead
    as wraiths wheel shrieking, enjoining

Sad poem. Didn´t quite understand the part of the mocking specters.

Next: raven, seashore, driftwood, Pliedes, gravitate, forlorn

    The little raven

    It was night.
Under the light of the Pliedes
    a very small raven
    was drifting forlornly
    on a piece of wood
    on the high sea.
    Around him
    his parents gravitated desperately
    but couldn´t help.
    Nobody knew
    how he got there.
Suddenly there was a bridge of light
from the sky to the sea.
    A beautiful woman descended
    took the little bird
    in her hands
    and deposited it
    carefully
    on the seashore.
    From above the Pliedes winked.

Next challenge:Winter, snow, leaves, spirits, eternal, song.

Forgive me my misspelling, also an small edit: specters > wraiths / Pleiades was misspelled.

The specters (now wraiths) are just malcontents and like to sow their hatred upon the living, especially those who are already grieving.

    Sweet poem

Never mind, I thought it might be local spelling. I thought a wraith was a kind of flower garland one puts on the coffins of the dead.
