Challenge: mirrors, water, leaf, underwhelming, indolent, rasping

    on waking

a stellar jay's less than stellar loud
    raspings cast aspersions through
    the air temporarily making the
    bucolic life most underwhelming

indolence and fog greet my waking -
for a time - let mirrors waste and
the hours become like water while
the oak spends its energy on leaves

    4/22/2023

Next: straw, swing, gaze, gift, bubble, crystal

    Ta ! (short for tarradiddle),

Challenge: straw, swing, gaze, gift, bubble, crystal

    Do we live
    in a crystal bubble
    swinging under the
    neutral gaze
    of the universe?

    Imagination
    sometimes
    hangs
    on a single straw.

Challenge: loop, hinge, radar, optimal, wolf, emblematic.

Challenge: loop, hinge, radar, optimal, wolf, emblematic

    phew!

out of the loop is the new aesthetic
    when asceticism's optimal goal is
    wont, radar love's unhinged lyric
calls: "don't need no phone at all" -
so, if keeping the wolf from the door
is all you can do, 'tis emblematic
of your success in a hard fought war

Next: virtue, blue, school, Venus, houseplant, reflect

    Idle Reflection (Rumination)
    No one can say
    that cheese is blue,
that all that you learn in school
    is true,
that Venus is a virtuous houseplant.
    So what?

Next challenge: Billboard, electricity, storm raging, serenity, pond.

Challenge: Billboard, electricity, storm raging, serenity, pond

    7.23.2011

Cherry and her Billboard way -
    harnessing all the electricity
    from raging storms across the
    pond... remembering the tragic
    day she found her serenity

Next: spectrum, crowd, plot, night, avenue, heat

    The spectrum

    Wandering along the avenue
    without feeling the heat
    of the night
    he remembered
    the same avenue
    crowded
    with plotting
    shadows.
    He might have told
    who had exploded
    the place.
    But now he was himself
    just an inefficient,
    errant shadow!

    Ufa!

Next challenge: supper, onions, clock, dangerous, sliding, mighty.

Challenge: supper, onions, clock, dangerous, sliding, mighty

    NonZens

    a clock sliding through
    the day reveals a
    dangerous liaison
    of universal truths
    mighty in their influence -
    not unlike whole onions
    who when unfolding
    the secrets of their
    petals at supper time
    do so reluctantly

Challenge: necklace, dragon, hope, sphere, musically, iron

    Hope
    Wearing his necklace of fire
    The dragon of hope
    Slowly ascends into space!

    To the mortal perception
    each sphere rings
    with itīs own music,
    sounds forged
with the lofty iron of church bells.

Next challenge: resolution, anthem, direct, spleen, increasing, abstract.
