Lol, no! That nonsense poem was inspired by the difficult words.
"I seemed to have sensed also from an early age that some of my experiences as a reader would change me more as a person than would many an event in the world where I sat and read. "

Challenge: entourage, frenetic, entranced, billows, adroitly, ontological

    the next big thing

    they were the next big
thing it was said, they and
    their entourage adroitly
    navigating an entranced
    yet frenetic crowd ever
    billowing toward them
    as they made their way
    to limousines waiting like
    purring black panthers...
    'tis simply ontological -
    a recapitulation of youth

    Strottner-Drechsler-Sainty Object 1...

    Somewhere, there!, high above the
horizon at zenith lies an immense
teal arc - A massive nebulosity
    found shadowing the galaxy of
Andromeda - A whisper of things
to come or a phantom of the past?
Such are the conjectures of alien
    minds whirling through the Milky
    Way devoted to celestial movements

At the Spur of the Momen

    I lost a coin
    Just a simple small coin
But it had a symbolic value.
    It had been given
    By someone special
    At a special occasion

    I looked for it
    In the portmanteau
    In the wardrobe
    In the office.

    I became frantic
    I divulged my loss
    Meeting with little sympathy
After all the world was having
    Apocalyptic losses
And I was demanding a coin.

    At last l found it
    Resting placidly
In the shadow of a tree.

    transcendental forest bathing

fluid within the framework of desired simplicities
I indulged in a day without personal electronics -
forgoing ringtones and eye candy - staying within
the geographics of my mind whilst conjuring a
tapestry of gentle windchimes in meditation -
transporting in time and space to a simpler place
where the færie folk dwell in the wood, escaping
the trappings and trumperies of man, refreshing
myself with the morning's collection of dew from
a buttercup offered by wooly bears I've sought
to receive counsel from - encircled by pink lady's
slippers with whom I will also give deference to

Challenge: liver, ancient, victory, bardana, aid, woodpecker

three mystics: a woodpecker, a badger, and me

    ms. woodpecker, an artsy
sort inclined to tie-dyed bandanas, invited me
via a handsome handmade invitation especial delivery
    to a dandelion/bardana tea
for an intimate gathering of three

the repast, though sumptuous, lacked charcuterie
which made the cucumber sandwiches key,
garnished with banana which I thought a culinary victory -
though master badger, an ancient sort, did disagree
in confidence to Marigold the bower maiden in repartee

I balanced my platter upon my knee
    opposite my golden snickersnee
and we sipped our dandelion/bardana tea with glee
as we chit chatted, most handily,
about this and that to such a degree
that the beeswax candles were laid waste upon the settee
whilst the man in the moon smiled down upon us through a window-sea

and all the problems of the world were solved to a vast degree
for few are the things in this fantasy
    we three mystics cannot foresee

Charming poem. With illustrations would grace a poem book for children. And you were right with bardana I meant bandana, thought I enjoy bardana as vegetable.

    The Insane Moment

The white curtains of the kitchen
    billowed
    while the lapis lazulli spoons
    danced
    wildly
    on the hearth.
    The clockface
    pointing at midnight,
    glided down
    leaving a void,
    while
    the gourd
    on the sink
    grinned its
    calabash grin.

    tiny vortices

tiny vortices dance in a maundering

light upon a floating bit of leaf and find
itself unable to escape - dragged down
