He loved imitating a siren of alarm,
causing a commotion.
People run desperately to the window .

A very vocal pitcher
became exhilarated
over the delicate design

his illusory tropes on a long gusseted sleeve
was partial to the vineyard's wine wherefore
while partaking an albatross he did perceive
who sang him sea shanties up in his tower
the most intricate tales for the bard to weave
inscribed on costly parchment hour by hour
expounding to people most ignoble and naïve
this raucous audience with fresh veg did shower
him - thus his daily vegan repast did he receive

In a woven basket my calico cat
dreams of engaging big game -
making no allowance whatsoever
for speed nor strength as I prepped

Poetry is on the agenda today after

media while "Ziggy" plays the Airplane
on my smart speakers; "Ziggy" was
named "Computer" before it executed
a random command from the telly
In response to "Computer"'s faux pas
I had had to address our new overlords'
complaint of the destruction of half
of their fleet in orbit around Ganymede,
or somewhere - it wasn't my fault that
humanity's AI had a sense of humor
she will protect me -
