Hi.
Not sure if you are talking about Lit Net Forum, or your chances in the dire current circumstances of Brazil.
Day at a time buddy. Day at a time.
Best wishes.
M.
Thanks, Mani!
Presently I`m merely talking about the steady dwindling activity in LitNet!

I cried when I saw this post for the first time.
I don't cry very often.
And I'm crying right now again.
I guessed the subject of Danik's post.
The site has been a part of my life on and off for over 15 years.
I remember when the site was so full of life. People were not always nice. But so what?
It was a very lively literary world. And I think it can become lively again. It just needs promotion, or more awareness that this wonderful site exists.
At any rate, there are so many posts of great literature of all kinds here. The site cannot be allowed to die! This site must live forever!
Sites like this are part of the literary heritage of humanity!
"...the ramblings of a narcissistic, self-obsessed, deranged mind."

Given that the Facebook, Twitter pages are terrible, with clickbait posting, runaway train threads and just plain dumb posts - I am surprised that most people are not retreating back to the forums (whether they be literature or otherwise).
I am back here because the various crap I follow on facebook lacks in substance. Even the Charles Bukowski page on Facebook is a nightmare of clickbait posting. And the "literature" pages. A horror.
I do see people creep back here from time to time, but no one is here -and they leave. Something like going to an old bar, and no one is there anymore. I wish I had the know-how to fix this. I do not.
So do I, dear Tony, so do I!

when you look at the statistics for the site, at pretty much any given time, there are a small handful of users logged in, and many HUNDREDS of visitors.
its likely some of them would want to join, but apparently are being prevented from doing so. I wrote a message to the administration about the state of the site, but didn't get a reply.
I also enquired about having a mass email sent to old users, asking them to come back and join in, but that idea didn't get picked up and ran with.
it might be a matter of finding out who owns the site and actually writing a letter to the folks in question saying, "hey, please fix this?"

There is a general answer to your request from Logos,Bounty, in the "Help with browser" thread which I started.
Amazed at Pigasso. Shared the link with my other forum.
