Me up at dawn
in the silence
feet on floor
I stare
at windowed ocean
a nested bird
nearby
asks me, "What
have you done that
I wouldn't have?"

This piece sent me to the "Google" machine to look up the poet who only used adding machine paper to keep his lines short. I couldn't remember his name, but it was (and is) A.R. Ammons. In any event the lines here (as well as your earlier posts) reminded me of this award-winning writer's M.O.
Enjoyed

Thanks for posting!
it may never try
but when it does it sigh
it is just that

And as I read that last line the confessions come pouring. So much, what of humanity is natural.
