How Do You Protect Your Most Valuable Books???

Do you use mylar, like I do, for your hardcover books that have a book jacket???

Do you use contact paper for your paperback books?? I don't cover all my books, just the ones I prize highly.

I'm not much of a religious fanatic but this video taught me how to laminate paperback books.

And for hardcover that have a book jacket.

Thanks, Red, that was useful indeed.

For what it is worth: I buy contact paper from Office depot and mylar from Amazon. Amazon sells mylar in 3 different sizes. Even if the mylar you buy is a little too big you can fold the bottom over your book jacket and keep it folded with scotch tape. Regards ...

I must confess all my favourite books are dog eared, well thumbed & faded from usage.
