Miss Dunstable is a most excellent charter deserving a husband worthy of her... And such a man would be difficult to come by. Dr Thorne is undoubtably suited to her yet I feel uneasy on the part of Lady Scatcherd. It is true that she is not in love with Dr Thorne but at the end of the book 'Dr Thorne' she moves into the neighboring house just to be close to her friend - almost her only friend. When Dr Thorne marries Miss Dunstable this friendship with Lady Scatcherd will be altered and then the couple move to Chaldicoates which is in the western division of Barsetshire! I think Trollope miscalculated Miss Dunstable's match in that it is damaging to a character that one quickly feels sympathetic towards in the book preceding 'Framley Parsonage'.
