I was raised crazy,
There was crazy all around,
Walking through me, talking to me,
Crazy all around.
In every sigh and in every sound
There was the breath of crazy,
It filled the air around me,
I breathed it in and I breathed it out,
It filled my body and it filled my brain
And it made my world insane.
I was raised crazy
And I was brought up to see crazy everywhere.
I was brought up frightened,
I was brought up distorted,
I was brought up damaged and unsafe,
And unsure how to navigate the tumultuous waters of this world.
They've always been polluted,
Mangled and convoluted,
But one thing is undisputed,
I was raised crazy.
