it may never try
but when it does it sigh
it is just that
good
it fly
Loved it. Free will and potential curbs succinctly captured.
I will be honest and unpopular. I don’t believe it means anything. Is lawless I guess was meant to say it’s lawless. Ironic. A rhyme between lawless and flawless at the end. Would be happy to hear your explanation of your thought process behind this piece Cacian to shoot me down. What were you getting at here?
For those who believe,
no explanation is necessary.
For those who do not,
none will suffice.
Jerrybaldy thank you for reading and feedback.
I have no mean to 'shoot you down' haha but I will try and explain the idea behind this piece.
My thoughts process around this piece is that perhaps sometimes it is best to do the complete opposite to what already imposed on us but in a constructive and meaningful way so to improve whatever is not working.
In other words what I have thought is that sometimes no law is better then having any because when barriers are up human nature chases it to bring down.
Trial by error is one an example.
If I can think of more examples I will text again.
it may never try

Hi Cacian
I suppose many would have differing viewpoints on this poem, which considering the way you have structured it, is perfectly understandable.
For myself, what I got out of it was the following:
There are common conventions in life, whether; social, moral or legal, that one is expected to follow, and don’t expect a formal acceptance of divergent behaviour. But this in itself contains the potential to negate genuine personal value judgements. Hence the need to reason through your judgement and believe in them.
Best regards
M.
