one may devote
itself to the art
of regret
the atmosphere
sweats but
the air dry swept
whatever reason a feeling
has to treason
it shocks to be even but it bores
to be a slave to whatever one's crave
when it is a doddle to let it all wave
the world better slept
if that is what time kept.
