    your review of the

This IS A "GOOD OLD FASHIONED BOOK", with some of the most beautiful English in our language. You deserve what you got out of it. Clearly, you don't wish to engage your mind. You SHOULD watch TV, and nothing else, you fool. You, and people like you, are destroying the greatest civiliztion and culture ever created. You, of course, have no idea. I imagine you come from people just like you: illiterate idiots. I'll bet you all love George Bush, too. You've all probably read the same books: both of them.

    Your comments are entirely unfounded.

Why, if you are writing a book review, would you suggest watching T.V as an alternative? I have to point out that this comment takes away any possible value from your "review" seeing as you aren't particularly a book lover in any shape or form anyway. If you cannot appreciate the value of anything written from another time and culture, or try to understand how to treasure a classic literary gem, whatever style it is written in, then you are clearly a very shallow individual. People today need to try and learn from things that are foreign and different, instead of critisizing and ridiculing anything they don't instantly understand. Too many people today are blind bigots, unwilling to stray from their own tiny worlds of dogmatic boundaries and instant gratification. If you would rather live a blinkered, uncultured life, following petty priorities and ignoring clear works of genius (and I don't just mean literary) then go ahead, but don't slander things that have been produced by highly talented, creative people. <br>

I had to read this book for English class and it was pure misery. i couldn't stand it. Where was all the action? What ever happened to the pure, old fashioned good books, not ones riddled with crappy English and confusing storylines. i had to draw pictures for one of my friends to understand. It was terrible. i was halfway through and thought that it was the worst book i had ever read, and then it kept going. Never ever read this. Spare yourself the suicide. Watch TV instead.
