I loved that book! We read it in English last year. I hated how they burned books!
This is a hilarious book by Richard Armour. It is parodies of the plays, lots of puns! I love it!
Sorry, I haven't read that one yet.
Hiya everyone! :)
Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker books are really good. Funny as heck, too. :)
They had a big fuss over it here, some people wanted it censored! I've never read it though.
I've been a member for ummm..... a month? maybe? and hardly anyone has posted here. :(
Thanks. :)
Alabama has a Shakespeare festival every year, too. I went this year and last year. It was really cool. :)
Anyone know who wrote it? And do they have it here?
Oh, ok. Thanks. :)
I don't really have a favorite book, I love to read so much, but my favorite author is Mercedes Lackey. I also like Douuglas Adam's Hitchhiker books. (I've only read the first two, but I've ordered...
There's a series of books by Philip Pullman that's really good. The first is The Golden Compass. I'd recommend it!
Hiya! :) What's up?
Not much. I love A Midsummer Night's Dream :)
I just finished reading The Tempest. It was pretty good. I also got to see it live, at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival. It was great! :)
Anne McCaffrey's really good. I especially like the Accorna books, and the Talent series.
Thanks, I might check that out. I love scifi/fantsy books.
A Midsummer's Night Dream is my fave, but I also love Merchant of Venice.
Twelfth Night was really good too. I guess I don't really have a favorite, I like so many of them!
I like that one. :)
Fall of the House of Usher definately has crazy people in it!
I saw that on a poster in my middle school library, and have loved it ever since.
I'm doing a report on Emily Dickinson right now...... Great stuff.
