I've actually changed my mind about this trilogy. After reading all three books, I liked it very much.
Great... New stories! Let's start reading :)
I also had a great time with the book. Espcially towards the end. Like Zosimov'sCorpse said, the range of feelings I've felt towards I. is huge.... First he grossed me out, then I hated him .... and...
I'm dragging behind... I've just finished reading the first day of Ignatius as a hot dog vendor... The more I read the more he p* me off.... Oh and this thing with his valve is becoming more and more...
I totally agree with you about the fact that I. is an overgrown child, I would even say an overgrown brat.... The way he locks himself up in his room and won't let his mother in... and when he...
For now I'd tend to laugh... What do you say?
For now I feel that maybe the Confederacy of Dunces is what Ignatius feels that he is surrounded by.... Because he seems to be looking at the people around him condescendingly and constantly feels...
Can't wait to get to those :)
I read the beginning of part Two over lunch and had a good laughwhen I read the part when Ignatius writes on his "Big Chief Tablet" about his character Piers' fate:...
I read part one last night and I'm finding the book really funny for now
My favorite part was when Ms. Reilly tries to get the car out of the parking place....: Big Ignatius sitting in the...
Same here :)
I have to read rather dull stuff for work so I'm really looking forward to reading a comic novel, hoping that the chosen book will be fun enough to compensate.
Thanks to the authors for taking the time to write and share these stories :)
very funny! nothing to add... I can totally picture her! Well done ;)
I was going to watch the video this week end but then figured would read the whole play first. Am halfway through Act III.
BTW I am really enjoying this play!
yes, I've read that too. And if I'm not mistaken, according to Hollinshed's history, it was R. who told Mowbray to kill Gloucester. Mowbray refused at irst and R. had to threaten him to do it. I'll...
I've finished Act II and must say that my opinion of RII is getting worse and worse. Not only did he come across as wishy washy as Virgil said, but he's also selfish and so full of himself! and, may...
yes! but the lack of facts makes it a bit confusing because we (or at least I ;)) can't understaand why Richard if he doesn't know anything about the murder would send Mowbray into exile for life.......
Voted for"All quiet...". Just to spice up the poll a it just before deadline! LOL!:D
Finished Act I and I've really enjoyed it.
So, if I've understood properly:
Thomas, Duke of Gloucester (brother of Gaunt and uncle of both Richard and Bolingbroke) has been killed and...
Better late than never.. have just finished the book :)

Yeeeeah.. New short stories!
This book is the first volume of the currently European bestselling trilogy and is classified under the thriller genre.
Mickael Blomkvist, a financial reporter recently convicted of libel against...
I'll read whiever play wins the poll. However if it has to be a historical play then I'd rather read Henry IV (part 1) which is why I've voted for it.
I got the Historical plays for Christmas...
