A war play, with the amazing St. Crispin's Day Soliloquy, and there is also a great Kenneth Branagh film (because Shakespeare is meant for watching as well as reading).
This is coming seven months too late maybe... ;)
But I'd recommend for a one-off Richard III, great play, really the bridge between Shakespeare's tragedies and his histories...
For an extended read, Henry IV Part 1 and 2 and then Henry V.
