Do these two poems help us to understand how Blake felt about humanity?
You ask a very pertinent question and yet no one has responded for well over a year. Well, I hope you are still interested in Blake because he is a fascinating figure in the arts. He even fascinates those who think he was mad and his work rather jittery. To respond to your question; I don't think we can assume anything from the poems but what's interesting is his grandiose use of imagery of the workings of nature to suggest how there may be powerful 'natural' forces acting on us as well that guide our behavioral and moral impulses.
