Books about hope in life
Hi everyone!
I want to start reading a new book, but I have some specific things that I am looking for so maybe someone can help me and give me advice.
I am looking for a book that gives a hope in life, where charaters are finding way to achieve their goals and their happines.
I have been reading lately lot of depressing literature so I need something refreshing.
Hope that someone will help me!
Enjoy!

Try "Heft" by Liz Moore - the main characters are a fifty year obese loner & a troubled teenager. I really cared about these characters and hoped they would do well. Although the ending is "open" you are left with hope for them! It was a nice read after a series of rather depressing books!

'Out of Africa' by Isak Dinesen
Enjoy!

You could try "A Long Way Down" by Nick Hornby! all his works are uplifting, but I think this one is particularly about hope and carrying on (:

Razor's Edge by Somerset Maugham. Very uplifting and also, given it was written prior to the 2nd World War - very foreshadowing of the liberation theme (re)ignited in the 1960's and all that jazz.
