    I found the book to be most profound . I discovered many things by reading it . For me ,
    it had the impact of an "Uncle Tom's Cabin."

    I had a course in jr. high about horses, so I got to read it then. I thought she did an excellent job of explaining how all classes of society treated their animals, and all the uses they could be put to. Something this American girl hadn't thought much about.
